The Apostle Peter drops the hammer on false teachers disguised as shepherds. Apostate teachers will promote deceptive words instead of the true word of God. These harmful heresies are significant, and Peter recognizes their seriousness. Why? Because it’s a matter of life or death! If a person believes the truth, they will live; if they believe lies, they will die. This is the difference between salvation and condemnation. It’s that simple, and it’s that haed!
