Philippians is considered the most joyful book in the Bible. In just 104 verses, the apostle Paul uses the Greek words for joy and rejoicing sixteen times. Despite writing from a dark Roman prison, chained to a Roman guard in a place typically associated with misery and trial, Paul finds joy because people are coming to Christ in the midst of his misery.
